About us: Extrahand.com.au is an online directory for services that don’t necessarily require qualifications. Most of our service providers are people who can’t work on a permanent full-time basis but still want to earn an income. These service providers include, but are not limited to, university students, stay-at-home mums, retirees, and backpackers. The services provided include, but are not limited to, tutoring, babysitting, cleaning, dog-walking, and waitering. The general public can then search for these services for free using our search engine and request a quote from up to five service providers- all in a matter of clicks.
What we offer members: Members are people who advertise their services on extrahand.com.au. Members are able to list their details on the site and be contacted by email by people in their local area who are after their services. The cost of their subscription covers the cost of advertising the website Australia wide, which includes advertising locally in newspapers, mail drops, local businesses, and community centres.
What we offer users: Users are people who request the services from extrahand.com.au. Users are able to search for services in their local area and choose up to 5 providers to email their enquiries to. Users have the opportunity to choose their services by looking at the providers profiles and deciding which one suits them best.
